Extremely long wait at pickup

Car was in much poorer condition than the vehicles we own. Fox Tampa staff is great; Fox corporate customer service awful. 2 major issues. After driving a bit, had an oil/burning smell that would not go away--seemed to have a bad tire or wheel bearing. Also, had a soft tire (took picture of air pressure screen) on pickup. Discovered next day that it wouldn't hold air after re-filling with air, because it had a nail in it. Fox Customer Service said we needed to pay because it was not reported within 6 hours. Very disappointed in their lack of appropriate service.

I booked a full sized car Chevy Impala or simular. I got aToyota Corolla which is a mid size car

The car we reserved was unavailable so we got an upgrade to a Kia sportage. The car was quite scratched up on the exterior and the seats inside were dirty and stained . It had 57K miles on it . The car drove well , seemingly had no mechanical issues and was surprisingly comfortable for a compact SUV of that price range. I didn't mind the age or mileage , because I didn't pay for an expensive vehicle , but I would have expected a cleaner one, I will try them again.

Rental agent was very pushy and was trying to up sell all extra items without full disclosure on what options were best for me.

We waited in line over an hour but we got a great Jeep for the money. I’m glad we bought unlimited tolls in Florida. It saved us time and probably a lot of money too.
