When finally available to process the car rental, they claimed they couldn't understand the bilingual confirmation form. Just because the Chinese characters were larger than the English ones, they insisted I read the confirmation number in English, at a slow pace. I switched to another person, who also spoke only English but was swift and efficient.

Had to wait in line a bit to pick up the car. Despite the language barrier, communication went smoothly with Google Translate.
