As it was my first time renting a BENZ V-Class car, I accepted the €950 deposit as reasonable and signed the contract, not realizing I had bought extra insurance. After returning the car and coming back home, I received three invoices from the car rental company for €650 in insurance and two €875 car damage fees. Despite already having the company's insurance, I was charged a total of €1750 for car damages.
