The attendant at pickup told me I only had the basic insurance and needed an upgrade. I said the car rental platform I used already included comprehensive insurance, so no upgrade was necessary. He said okay, there would be no extra insurance charges. Then, he printed a paper and asked me to sign, emphasizing with a pen that the charge was zero. But I noticed the total amount was $56. When I asked, he explained it was for fuel. I told him my agreement with the platform was full-to-full fuel policy. He insisted their option was cheaper than refueling myself. When I insisted I didn't want it, he quickly crumpled the paper and threw it away...
