The suggested credit card linkage for tolls and fuel discounts required a pre-authorized hold on the credit card. Furthermore, the fuel discount involved an upfront service fee by the company, making the discount feel insignificant during refueling.
There was no line when picking up the car, it was very quick. The staff member was a friendly Black man. There was no hard-sell during the process, just pick up your car with your card.
The person handing over the car was a very nice White girl who upgraded the car for free, and she was very patient with the three car changes.
Overall, I have a good impression of the ALAMO branch in Toronto.
