The staff at the store were very enthusiastic, and most of the service instructions were clear. The car exchange at Melbourne Avalon Airport could be improved a bit.
They took a $200 deposit from me without mentioning when it would be refunded. My friend rented from the same company and wasn’t charged a deposit, so it felt unfair.
After informing the staff that I had purchased additional insurance, they didn't try to sell me the store's insurance. They did charge an extra 100 AUD as a security deposit when swiping the card, but it has been refunded.
