    Like: Nice and Friendly Team and Great Location. Drop off is a breeze!!!
    Dislike: Whilst drop off was painless, the pick up was time consuming compared to what I'm used to at other rentals. The amount of up selling the sales guy and his manager tried to do was sort of funny at the start but started to get a bit much and made me uncomfortable. Not only off putting in the end but time consuming. I actually spent money on insurance I would not have because of the constant up selling tbh. So I question were they nice or were they just nice to try to make more money!!??

    Customer reception was a little dodgy. I was pressured to pay for an upgrade. The company didn't actually have the compact vehicle I had booked, but did not disclose this. I persevered with my booked smaller vehicle and the company rep had to admit that they could only supply a larger vehicle (for no extra cost). The vehicle also had some cosmetic damage that was not disclosed. I had to take my own photos to prove to Hertz that the vehicle had some damage that their own pre-rental inspection did not show.

    Although I had some reservations about HERTZ pushing me to upgrade the car, to be fair, their service was still pretty good. The wait time in line wasn't long, and while communicating in English wasn't as convenient as in Chinese, I couldn't expect too much while abroad. At pickup, the staff informed me that my reserved Corolla wasn't available and suggested I upgrade to an Audi Q5 by paying extra. I thought it was an additional 18 AUD per day, so I accepted. Later, I found out it was actually 45 AUD per day, totaling 180 AUD for the 4 days. While I was okay with the cost, suggesting a luxury car upgrade immediately did feel a bit pushy. The Q5 was in excellent condition and very new, but there was no manual with the car, making opening the fuel cap a bit challenging. The car was great to drive, and I had no issues, making the rental experience smooth overall. I was in a hurry to leave and didn't have time to argue, so I took the risk and accepted the luxury upgrade. Returning the car was quick as they only checked the fuel level. The brakes made a strange noise on the second day, which affected our mood a bit.     Extremely poor experience. I was attended by a Chinese staff member when renting the car in Melbourne. I confirmed the return details multiple times, and she emphasized twice that I only needed to return the keys and nothing else. I purchased all the recommended insurance for safety, but she told me I didn't buy roadside assistance. Later, QEEQ confirmed that roadside assistance was included in the full insurance, and I ended up paying an extra 25 AUD due to her misleading information. QEEQ mentioned that the personal insurance I bought through them wasn't visible to HERTZ, which was odd, especially since the Chinese staff member claimed I had purchased all other insurance except roadside assistance. When I returned the car at Adelaide airport, I provided the final refueling receipt, and the tank was full. The staff there just let me go. However, they deducted a pre-authorized amount of 168 AUD on the same day. I immediately called QEEQ, but they were confused too. Four or five days later, QEEQ sent me a HERTZ invoice charging 306.91 AUD, claiming the car was dirty with sand, requiring a steam clean for 180 AUD. We were five women on a road trip, and we kept the car clean, sweeping it daily. How could there not be sand on the Great Ocean Road? Why didn't they mention any of this when I rented the car? They also charged mysterious management fees and service fees! This is clearly extortion! I complained to QEEQ again, but they told me to wait. Eventually, HERTZ deducted the money directly, and QEEQ provided no solution even after a month. It seems they washed their hands off once the money was deducted! I'm utterly disappointed with both QEEQ and HERTZ! Future renters, think twice...

    Very professional. Since it's full coverage, no extra check-in or check-out inspections are needed, similar to the no-liability insurance in China. The car was very new, just over 5000 kilometers, much better than the typical 20000 kilometers in China. However, others picking up a car at Franklin Hertz should be aware that the cars are parked in a garage, and you need to drive them down yourself. It's tricky if you're not used to right-hand drive cars yet. You can ask the staff to bring the car to the ground level before handing it over. At Melbourne Airport, there's a dedicated return lane for rental cars. It's a shared lane for all rental companies and not the entrance to a private car parking. Please pay attention to this.

    Great experience! The rental shop is very close to the train station and the famous graffiti street. The staff was very nice! We had already purchased full insurance through the app, and the staff didn't try to upsell us. I asked if I could return the car at 6 PM (our order said to return it by 5 PM), and she said it was fine as long as we returned it before 9 AM the next day.     1. No explanation of pre-existing scratches on the car's body at pickup; I had to inspect and take photos myself in a poorly lit parking area. 2. No instructions on how to use the car, like opening the gas cap, high/low beam lights, or wipers. 3. No instruction on how to handle the parking ticket if the self-service return area is full (you need to get a parking ticket before entering the self-service return area). 4. They charged a 100 AUD deposit and 23 AUD for the baby seat rental on my credit card during pickup (the rental on the site was listed as 11 AUD) without notifying me or providing any receipts. I only found out when I checked the bill and called the store. 5. The staff had a terrible attitude when handling car damage after return, showing impatience and using abusive language. 6. Constant upselling to more expensive car models during pickup.

    I didn't have the pre-prepared translation documents from QEEQ. After contacting QEEQ, they said there was nothing they could do and told me to cancel the order. Upon contacting Hertz, they informed me that in Australia, I could use their company's translation documents. They quickly sent me a template which I prepared myself. When I arrived at the Melbourne branch, I had already communicated with QEEQ about borrowing a booster seat for my child from Hertz. QEEQ customer service said I could just inform the Hertz branch and did not need to select it when placing the order. However, when I got to the branch, I was told it was the Australian school holidays, and all the booster seats had already been taken. I planned to travel along the Great Ocean Road with a 4-year-old child, and without a booster seat, this was not possible. Fortunately, the staff at the branch were very helpful, found a Target store 800 meters away that sold them, and I had to spend 99 AUD to buy one. QEEQ's service has issues; shouldn't they have reserved what I needed in advance?

    I booked a Corolla but was given a Civic. They asked if I wanted to upgrade without being pushy. Knowing I was driving the Great Ocean Road, they even provided me with a map and pointed out several famous spots. They also reminded me to set Google Maps to avoid toll roads since I didn't rent a toll pass. I bought fuel, and returning the car without a full tank was slightly more expensive but acceptable.
