The originally reserved car was unavailable, so we were given an alternative of the same class (Volkswagen). As the luggage couldn't fit, we upgraded to a Lynk & Co 01, which increased the rental fee to 585 euros for five days (originally 343.76 euros).
I booked a Peugeot 3008, but HERTZ gave me a Volkswagen. There was no space for my luggage, so I had to upgrade to a Volvo S60. Since I didn't communicate with the rental company in time, I ended up paying an extra insurance fee, which was quite a loss.
After the car window was broken by a thief in Barcelona, they replaced the car for free. When a car of the same class wasn't available, they upgraded it to a Mercedes automatic business car.
Pickup and drop-off were very convenient, but what's this 21% about? Are the listed prices not including tax? But the tax is only 10%, right?
