No upselling, didn't have the booked model, was given a Ford Explorer with around 10,000 miles. Vehicle condition was fine. Received a $50 charge 7 days after returning the car, customer service said it was for tolls. No detailed breakdown, but I did use some toll roads, seems about right.
They claimed they didn't have the car I reserved and charged me extra for an upgrade. Planned to spend $165 but ended up paying $300! However, the car quality was indeed excellent. If you have the money, it's worth it.
I booked with super protection but Alamo desk staff told me it's not enough. She recommended md to choose Alamo's extended warranty for full coverage. So I paid extra 50 dollars for that warranty. Easyrentcars.com showed me super protection would cover everything but looked like it didn't. I wonder what's the problem.
Like: I have to say I was a little concerned booking through what i thought was a reseller (EasyRentCars) but it was a trouble free and "Easy" experience. I will go through them again for sure.
