Budget is really disappointing. When returning the car, I was told to leave the keys in the car. I asked if I needed to go to the office for any procedures and the staff said no. Three days after returning to my country, I received an email claiming that I damaged the bumper and they need to make a claim. I returned the car around 12:50, but the photo showing the damaged bumper was taken around 19:40, a gap of seven hours. Why didn't they say there was an issue when I returned the car, but took a photo seven hours later and claimed I did it? Although I had full insurance, it wasn’t our fault and I don’t want to be unjustly charged. This was my first time driving abroad and didn't have experience. I was in a hurry and didn't take photos when returning the car. This rental experience was really terrible.

Everything was just perfect. But we have asked the counter staff at the time of pick up to take the cash instead of deducting the amount from credit card, the lady said your cash will be accepted at time of dropping the vehicle, and no deduction will be made from card. But when we went to Budget office on the date of return, it was closed and they said they will deduct the amount from card. So, when we have mentioned at the time of booking that we will return the vehicle in the evening around 9PM-10PM, you should make a note of it to at least attend your customers at the given dropping time to either collect the money or to inspect the vehicle. How can you make your customers false promises to accept cash at the end and just deducting it from the card at the time of return?? I found it very awkward and disrespectful.
