At LAX arrivals, we took our bag and proceeded to the curb to take the Free shuttle as mentioned in the booking instructions. A quick ride to the Car Rental location where we were helped by the counter staff in a friendly manner, took the car and went on our way. The drop off was great only 1 minute and directly to the shuttle transfer to departure. Smooth experience.

The local company Fox in Los Angeles is quite problematic. Europecar partners with Fox locally and they will try to charge you additional fees at pickup, telling you there are no cars available unless you pay more. There were many people at the door complaining about why they couldn't pick up their reserved cars. The staff explained that making a reservation only guarantees you can come to the store, not that you will get a car. Also, I returned the car with a full tank, but I was still charged over 20 USD.

It was my first time renting a car in the USA and I got tricked. I didn't read the contract carefully and ended up being charged for several additional insurances. Carpool quoted $12.99 for three days, but it turned out to be $12.99 per day. I also asked about the fuel charges when picking up the car and the staff said I didn't need to worry about it, but I was charged a much higher amount later.

el coche tenía un foco trasero roto. No lo vi porque era de noche cuando cogí el coche. El personal a la salida del local dio la vuelta al coche y no me dijo nada. Me hizo firmar el papel y me dijo que saliera. Luego resulto que el portón trasero no se cerraba. empujabamos la puerta, se cerraba pero 2 segundos más tarde se volvía a abrir.
