The Hertz at Zurich train station is really great. The service is excellent, and they don't aggressively sell insurance. They gave me a new car that was even bigger than the one I booked. The return inspection was quick and hassle-free.
Picked up the car from the Zurich city center branch. The front desk staff, who was Indian, was polite and didn't push for additional insurance sales. The actual car provided was the new model Polo as reserved, with only 5,000 kilometers on the odometer. It had high-end features like adaptive cruise control, heated seats, and CarPlay. Fuel consumption on the highway was around 4.6-5L per 100km, and it runs on gasoline. I would consider renting this car again next time.
Great experience. Although it wasn't the BMW 5 I reserved, I got a Mercedes E200 4WD wagon, which was in excellent condition.
