I arrived at Thrifty around 9pm on Friday and didn't receive my vehicle until after 2 am Saturday morning. I had booked a pickup due to all the large luggage we would be returning with but received a Ford Explorer instead. I will have to return to California to pickup more luggage we had to leave behind as a result of not getting the pickup we had booked. The staff did not provide any details on why it took so long other than to tell us they were operating with a skeleton crew. On a busy Friday night??!! Further when we called to ask if we could swap out the Ford Explorer we were told there was one in Santa Barbara, 60 miles from our location but as it turned out, that Thrifty location no longer existed.

It took a long time to get from LAX to Thrifty, because the shuttle went to Dollar rent a car, which wasn’t close to Thrifty.

I would have rather rented at Thrifty, you put me at Fox, there were hidden fees and crappy cars with more hidden cleaning fees after I got in the car. I will never rent at Fox again!
