Renting a car at the airport is convenient with shuttle buses providing transport to the rental location. Even if you're not good at English, having a rental agreement makes the process easier. There are no hidden fees, but if the car has issues like broken glass, it's better to switch to another vehicle. For instance, I encountered a cracked side window that kept worsening, and it was troublesome to exchange the car since smaller rental outlets typically can't handle vehicle swaps. You'll need to visit a larger airport branch for such replacements. Fortunately, I managed to exchange the car for a Jeep Grand Cherokee at Las Vegas Airport. Also, remember that the rental time cannot be more than 30 minutes earlier or later than scheduled—otherwise, you'll be charged an extra day's fee.
Car rental in the US is different from Europe. First, after completing the paperwork, you need to go to the parking lot yourself and choose any available car—the doors and windows are open, and you can just drive off, so paying extra for a specific model like I did makes no difference. Second, the car's fuel tank is empty when you pick it up, so you’ll need to refuel yourself. Therefore, instructions like returning the car with a full tank from QEEQ are unnecessary, and we ended up wasting several hundred. The whole process is essentially self-service. I couldn't find the car I booked after searching the parking lot for half an hour, only to realize you can just take any car.
This was my first time booking with this company because the one I used during the Lunar New Year was less satisfactory, so I decided to try this one. Overall, it was okay. When picking up the car, I didn’t see a self-service machine, so I had to interact with a staff member, which was a bit awkward. Their attitude wasn’t great. For the car model, they asked us to check online for differences instead of showing us photos, which other companies usually do. Also, they kept trying to upsell an upgrade, and it was easy to misunderstand since they mentioned it several times and my English isn’t that good.
