Cheap but functional car rental company - only use if you have lots of time

The paperwork took over an hour. Terrible service. I booked an SUV but they gave us a station wagon. If I had known, I would have booked a station wagon from the start since it's cheaper. They charged £120 for a second driver and said it could be refunded if canceled, but it turned out to be a scam.

They just wanted money and I was scammed out of £119 with no way to complain.

Acceptable. One key reminder is that unlike renting cars in the US, here the primary driver's credit card is required for the deposit, irrespective of whose card is used for payment. We overlooked this requirement and ended up having to buy full insurance on the spot for nearly £300.
