I am absolutely disgusted with the service from Easirent, who conned me into signing for insurance that was not explained to me. I had already purchased insurance from Easyrent and instead of asking for a deposit they took more money out of my account for further insurance without explaining the terms to me. After realising the next day that money had left my account, I called them and they just blamed Easyrent and said that they should never have sold me insurance?!

The whole thing was a little duplicitous for me. They advertise the car at one price (£38) but when you turn up there is a compulsory insurance that makes the price of the rental completely unreasonable. I normally rent with Sixt but wanted to try this to see what it was about. The rental with Sixt was smooth, efficient, friendly and for the same car ALL in was £78 (different weekend). The rental with Easirent was average and inconveniently located (at best) and ALL in was £135. I don't mind a little inconvenience as a trade off if its better value or the service is out of this world but to be downgraded in every way and pay way more for it was a little surprising. Thankfully I had also read the small print in the contract and noticed the completely unreasonable requirements that they stipulate you require when turning up.

Having never used Heathrow airport before, I found it difficult to find where to catch the bus from to the rental company. A phone call to the office sorted it, but perhaps the bus stop number could be added to the booking instructions. I also found it difficult to locate the offices to drop off the car. However, the car itself was fantastic value for money. I booked a small vehicle but was upgraded free of charge to the next size up due to availability. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely book with Easirent again. Especially now I know how to find them. :)

Nothing particularly wrong, certainly value wise. Staff friendly enough, car fine, service good. A couple of things to tighten up on though (some my misunderstandings but you could help others avoid)... Finding the location - I'd wrongly gone to the car hire bus stop at terminal 5 before realising you weren't on there. When I looked on the internet at the booking it said at the top 'available from terminals 1 -4'. As I saw that I didn't look further assuming I needed to go to a different terminal. I did so on the free train then found you weren't on that sign either. Only then did I look at the smaller print and find I needed to go to a specific bus stop for a specific bus. By that time it was very late. I had tried calling for advice several times but no one picked up which would also have saved me time. In hindsight I completely realise that it says on the detailed part of the voucher how to get to you but having travelled mainly abroad I'm used to car hire that's signed or in the airport. It never crossed my mind not to just follow signs for car hire and look for your desk.

The car was fine, the challenge i faced was only with the collection process - had to use the kiosk first which failed and ended up trying three machines before finally having to go to the counter to finalise payments. Then was instructed to go to the front desk with a sheet of paper with a number on it. Was then told that i had to go back to the room with kiosks for collections, then back to the front counter when staff realised i'd been through the pre check in process, then to the waiting room until called. once called the car was still dirty so was told to go back and wait until cleaned then called again and was provided with a completely different car. Overall very disorganised so my score doesnt reflect my actual impression as all the scores above relate to things other than the collection 'process' which i found to be very disorganised.

When I called the contact center it kept on going on to the IVR, ultimately someone answered who seemed uninterested. Getting to your pick up point was a challenge since the call center told me a different stop than what it was. When I reached the pick-up point I tried self service machine which didn't work. When I tried to get attention of the staff at the counter, I was told rudely because I'm late they wont work for me. The chap was using foul swear words with his colleagues in Indian language while I was at counter, least mindful of the fact that I could understand Indian language. I saw a customer break into tears because your crew charged him $350 for a scratch on the wheel. For a moment I thought I had signed up to a scam shop and was scared if the same fate awaited me at the return. It was stressful.
Best part of return the chap was fresh as a daisy even if it was almost midnight. He took the keys and completed the process in minutes. That still doesn't change for me the impression I got when I came to pick-up, I will always be scared that I could be paying $350 for a scratch so while I value this survey, you wont' be seeing me again ever !!

Absolutely the worst car rental company, I have seen so far. We went in there and were ushered to use a Kiosk. The kiosk goes all the way until you go the option of buying additional option. If you select, no additional insurance, it asks to go back to the desk. The whole 15 mins process after a long flight was terrible.
The person at the desk was rude. He again tried to sell us insurance telling us terrible catalyst converter theft happening in London. I had a California and a UK driving license. I scanned the UK one on kiosk. He said that I cannot use it since I am not a native in UK anymore and cannot switched to California driving license as I had already scanned it. Refused to give me car.
I would suggest everyone to be think twice and think again before using Easirent. I ended up renting for a reputable international car hire company for almost the same price but with much better customer service.

This is a shameless car rental company. The store employees are negligent and do nothing, tampering with the original rental agreement. The company supports them and even asks customers to provide video and audio evidence, arbitrarily charging customers. Complaints are ineffective and lawsuits are inconvenient, resulting in significant losses.

Even though I had pre-paid in full online while in China, upon picking up the car at the Sheraton Hotel at Heathrow Airport, I was suddenly asked to pay an additional £1,200 or I would not be allowed to take the car. After lengthy negotiations proved futile and urgently needing the car, I had to reluctantly pay despite knowing it was likely a scam. I had clearly rented an MPV but was given a Mitsubishi SUV instead, which was handed over after a cursory wash resulting in a long wait time. Upon returning the car, despite no accidents or collisions, I was accused of causing scratches and a loose left front wheel cover. Only after arguing did a white woman employee skillfully kick the cover back into place, suggesting everyone at the company knew it wasn't my fault. Nonetheless, I was charged £250 for the scratch! I rented the car for a week in early August and by National Day still hadn't seen the £1,000 refunded to my card even after deducting the £250. Where did the money go? Even if Zuzuche.com didn't take the money directly, you facilitated this transaction. Who's handling this matter? The staff at the airport branch, mainly from the Middle East, were extremely rude. I will never rent from them again and will advise everyone to avoid them. I urge Zuzuche to seriously investigate this issue, or I will document and share this experience with everyone.

The service attitude at the store was quite good. Although there was a small issue with credit card fees, it was waived after communication with the rental company. I compared the rental costs with a friend who rented from another company, and mine was significantly cheaper. This was the worst experience I've ever had. I kept getting harassed by the receptionists of Indian and Pakistani origin, while the car rental service kept shirking responsibilities. 1. They aggressively pushed for insurance, and when I declined, they started finding excuses. 2. They demanded my return flight ticket. When I showed them my itinerary from the airline, they claimed they couldn't read Chinese and refused service without a return ticket. When I called the rental service, they said they couldn’t resolve it. I had to barge into their manager's office, and only then their attitude changed and they processed my rental. 3. They claimed my Visa chip card wouldn’t work, and said if I used a magnetic stripe card, I’d need to buy full insurance, stating that the insurance from the rental service wasn't valid. ERSIRENT at London Heathrow Airport (KV) took advantage of the language barrier. Despite repeatedly showing the printed statement from the rental service about not needing additional insurance, and stating in English 'I have all cover, no need other cover!', the staff didn't mention the £1250 deposit option. When I repeatedly confirmed if the three charges were all deposits, I got a confirmed response that 'ALL will come back to me.' However, when I returned the car, the staff said this was a charge and wouldn’t be refunded. They maliciously upsold the insurance. Essentially, I rented a car and ended up with two full insurance policies, costing me significantly more than usual. This has caused me substantial financial and mental distress. Customer service is handling it, and I hope for a good outcome.

We still had over an hour before the return time, but they wouldn't let us leave. The cleanliness standard was entirely up to them. I didn't think it was dirty, just had some sand and mud inside from our trip to the Scottish Highlands. Isn't that normal? They delayed our time to catch the flight, insisting we pay a £100 cleaning fee. I just want to ask, does cleaning need to cost £100? I will never choose this company again, very dissatisfied. The paperwork took over an hour. Terrible service. I booked an SUV but they gave us a station wagon. If I had known, I would have booked a station wagon from the start since it's cheaper. They charged £120 for a second driver and said it could be refunded if canceled, but it turned out to be a scam.
