CAR RENTAL REVIEWS ON SURPRICE RENT A CAR IN FARO

La voiture était propre. Seul probleme est que j'ai mentionné un dommage sur la voiture lorsque je l'ai prise, je l'ai inscrite sur le document de l'agence mais pas sur le mien et par conséquent lors du retour de la voiture, l'agence m'a facturé le dommage.

Quick and without any type of hassle! Would for sure use again even if a little bit expensive.

The shuttle came right as we were getting to the pick up location and it was a short drive and easy check in process. We added a day last minute and then didn’t need it but still had to pay (understandable but wish they would have made that clear when we added on). Return was quick and easy as well.

Really affordable online reservation system, a third of what it would’ve cost otherwise.

Diffcultés de récupération du véhicule. Aucune aide de personnel. Problème administratif . Solution trouver au bout de 2h. Personnel non chaland . Pas agréable . un regret d’avoir choisi surprice rent a car. Difficultés de communication avec le personnel faisant mine de ne pas comprendre.

Staff at Surprice upon returning car were rude and are currently trying to con me over supposed damage damage to car. Currently in dispute. Almost missed our return flight as initially refused to take us back to airport and had to cal a taxi. Spoliled our holiday.

We did get to take the car we booked. Hidden charges galore totally more than €200 at SURPRICE, charge for collection after 8pm, they wouldn’t release car without their insurance even though we had separate cover for a year, didn’t except AMEC and wanted to charge for second driver in order to use a second persons card. Addition changes for toll road machine. Stead clear of this company

Booking was easy but will think twice next time and go with one of the more we’ll known car rental companies

I noted there were bad comments on FB page about Surprice rent a car but I can honestly say none of them rang true in my experience with them. Counter staff polite friendly and did not push more insurance. The man who check vehicle when we returned was also polite and it was very quick. Would use them again as I think i saved approx €300!!

Voiture plus petite mais le prix inchangé et aucune réaction du loueur. Ils m ont demander 15 euros par jour car je n avais pas de carte pour la caution, après avoir insister pour qu ils prennent ma carte de crédit qui prouver servir de carte pour la caution. Personne non aimable !

The car was due a service and the driver airbag didn’t work. Car wasn’t safe to drive.

Worst experience in the past 10 years. I was refused to pay by debit card and given no option but to buy again the insurance at double the price I already paid online- €15/day because I didn't have a credit card. Charged an out of hours fee for dropping off the car before 8:00. Pushed into hiring a tag for motorway at €1.85/day when I had to pay the tolls anyway and could have done without it as you could pay with cash or card at pay points. I felt bullied and ripped off. Only had a Toyota Aygo with no cruise control, no parking sensors no key remote lock, but I paid the price for a large premium car. Never ever will use this company nor reccomend to anyone.

The booking was all right- all good and thank you for all the options and smoothness of the booking.

1) Le loueur prétendait se situer sur le parking de l'aéroport alors qu'il organisait en réalité un service de navettes pour se rendre à son bureau et récupérer le véhicule. 2) Le loueur a prétexté la mention "débit" (qui signifie simplement "débit immédiat") sur ma carte de crédit Visa pour m'obliger à lui payer une assurance supplémentaire, alors que j'avais déjà souscrit toutes les assurances nécessaires via EasyRentCars. L'arnaque était apparemment bien rodée. 3) le personnel était profondément désagréable.

The car was very basic. Collection was long, we had to pay for a toll road box in the car and they held my credt card details incase there was any damage they could take up to €1500 which was a worry as my card was empty for my holiday. Also we took out insurance with another company which they told us was not really the right thing to do. The car had alot of marks and scratches and we was told we will be charged for any imperfection no matter how small. On the third day the engine management light, anti skid break and exclamation warning lights all came on. I contacted them and emailed images they said 'oh don't worry as the lights are yellow its ok if they change to red then they will collect it and we will have to go to the office by taxi and get another car" so it was a worry to be driving it with all the lights on. The whole experience was not nice, I would never use this company again.

Accusé d'avoir abîmer le véhicule carte bleu refusé au guichet donc au lieu de 35 euro la semaine je me suis retrouver à payer 160euros de location car forcé de prendre l'assurance à 18 euro par jours je déconseille fortement j'ai réservé

Excellent service

Cost effective hire, however, be prepared for off airport transfer & return which will cost you time. Staff courteous and helpful.
