The pickup location is very convenient, and the store staff were very enthusiastic and patient. The Golf car was quite new, well-equipped, and had great driving performance.
“Too far, didn't make it to the Great Ocean Road, unfortunately. I'll save it for next time.”
About Shouqizuche:6.0/10
They took advantage of my lack of English skills, added insurance fees directly to the contract without explaining, and had me swipe my card for a deposit before signing. Currently requesting a refund through the rental platform; this company is quite unpleasant.
Shouqi Car Rental in Melbourne actually uses Europcar, and I have to mention that the staff had a terrible attitude. My English isn't great, and when I didn’t understand a couple of sentences, the staff kept rolling their eyes at me. Later, when I had more questions and went back to the office, their reaction was like 'Oh no, not this person again!' They answered my questions while complaining to their colleagues. The entire experience was very unsatisfactory.
Terrible experience. The car return location at Sydney Airport is not near the terminal, making it very difficult to find. This caused me to be over an hour late in returning the car, and they charged me an additional full day's rental. When I complained to customer service, they said it's their policy. This company is staffed entirely by people from India, and their heavy accents make communication difficult. They overcharge unfairly. Very bad review!
Europcar is pretty good and advised me not to buy insurance directly through the app, as I would still need to pay 6,000 dollars first before getting compensated by the app. This wasn't mentioned on the platform before.
This was the first time I encountered a rental company that required an international driver's license to be accompanied by a translated version with a full English address matching the one on my domestic license. It took a long time to explain to the Europcar counter, and they only agreed to rent the car to us because we had already paid.
This was the first time I encountered a rental company requiring an international driver's license to include a complete English translation of the home country address. After a lengthy discussion with the Europcar counter, they finally allowed us to rent because we had already paid.
They overcharged me, saying the gas station was too far from the airport. It was actually just a few kilometers away. I refueled at a station not far from the airport because I wasn’t familiar with the area.
