Pick-up and drop-off were very simple.

Due to language barriers, I unknowingly signed a local insurance document. Customer service failed to resolve this issue, but eventually, an American friend helped contact the rental company and got the local charges canceled.

The car matched the online photos, procedures were simple. Easy pickup.

I got the nice and clean car.Staff was offered me to upgrade car with a small difference which was the best deal and decision for our trip.

Arrive early, long wait in line.

Pickup process was quick, and they arranged a check-up swiftly when the car had warnings. However, they couldn't provide the agreed model and pressured me into an upgrade, costing me a few hundred dollars.

Alamo, service was super, as the extend the car rental very easy, efficient and friendly

Picking up and returning the car was very convenient. Car pickup was done through self-service under the guidance of staff, and I was free to choose additional options as needed, which was quick and easy. Returning the car in Los Angeles was also very convenient, as staff attended to us immediately upon parking. The staff checked the car and gave a slip, allowing us to leave right away. There was even a shuttle service to take us to the hotel or airport.

Terrible customer service, we waited in chaos for more than an hour to pick up our car in downtown San Francisco. The staff appeared to be trying but there was no system in place meaning their efforts didnt really help. On dropping off our car we spent an hour ensuring that we didnt have to pay for a GPS system that we were never given. The car was cheap to rent, a new model (but dirty inside) but the inconvenience of pick up and drop off would ensure that I will never use Alamo again

Given the price, the pickup and return process was fairly convenient. There are self-service machines to follow the process and swipe your card to get the car.
