Budget! My first time driving abroad, such thoughtful service! Highly recommend! At Zurich Airport and Florence Airport, both share the same counter with Avis, very prominent. The staff are friendly and courteous, very attentive. The car was almost new, with less than 1,000 kilometers. We mistakenly filled the tank with the wrong fuel and broke down on the highway from Florence to Milan. Called the roadside assistance number on the rental agreement, and a tow truck arrived in 15 minutes, towing us and the car to a repair shop for free. The staff asked for our preference and helped us get a taxi to the nearest Florence Airport Budget counter, where they immediately gave us a new car free of charge. Returning the car was easy.
The service desk staff was quite friendly. I was initially hoping for a Volkswagen Polo, but they didn't have one available. I received a Renault instead, and the car's condition was very good. A pleasant surprise.
