Both the car rental and return processes were very quick.

Extremely bad counter staff who was more interested in selling us upgrades and more products .. and car given to us was not equivalent to the one booked

The final bill for 3 days was GBP 332, but they charged GBP 433 from my credit card. I don’t know how to claim the balance amount.

I booked a car, and after waiting for 3 hours at the pick up location (Edinburgh airport) I gave up and cancelled. There were 100 people waiting with two people on point (8 open desks!). Surely you knew what was going to happen??? What a shambles!

Car was ready on time and they took us straight to the car park (which is a ways from the train station)

Picked up the car at Edinburgh Airport. There were many counters, so the waiting time was not long.

1. Long waiting times, and people cut in line. 2. Signage for car pickup and paperwork locations is not clear. 3. We had already paid for the one-way rental fee on a third-party site, but were informed at the counter that we needed to pay again because the rental company does not recognize third-party payments for one-way rentals; all such fees must be paid in person. 4. The one-way rental issue delayed our car pickup, but the rental company started the rental time from when we arrived at the counter, not when we got the car (almost an hour difference), and there were no warnings about this. After returning the car, we were charged an overtime fee for being late. Overall, a very unpleasant rental experience. Considering using Ctrip for future rentals, as it’s said to be cheaper and more convenient than the current service.

The deposit refund took too long, nearly 3 months, and multiple phone calls were needed with poor feedback.

Pre-authorization turned into intentional charges. It's been two months since we returned, and still no response. Very low efficiency.

No, I didn’t get the car I chose. I had ordered Skoda Octavia but it seems the supplier doesn’t have any. Vehicle I received was smaller and was available for a lesser price when I made the bookings. I paid higher for the car I chose.

Very positive experience. I was upgraded to a brand new vehicle with a navigation system. This was very much appreciated.

The counter staff body language was rude, she hated when questions were being asked bad experience.

Like: Polo was easy to drive. Great and smooth trip and GPS was much needed.
Dislike: When picking up car, it was not parked at the slot mentioned. Had to ask for help.

Not the same car booked, but a different alternate. In the same range. Car was quite okay with our expectations but since an hybrid vehicles, was in need of bettery service / maintenance and that was the only message promoting on display periodically. Otherwise, all fine.

Would definitely recommend EasyRentCars for easy, smooth and confirmed bookings and certainly for great price deals!

Arrogant and unprofessional

The platform did not offer an option to prepay the rental fee, resulting in no suitable automatic transmission wagon being available upon arrival at Belfast Airport. Four people plus four large suitcases had to squeeze into a small car, leading to a poor experience.
