Easyrentcars.com provided the best price and although we were initially unsure, the rental process was easy and simple with no hidden costs or fees.
Like: I was late getting to the airport and the shuttle driver told me the fastest way to get through security and to my gate.....this was very helpful and I was able to just make my flight. Dislike: long line to pick up my vehicle

They didnt have any full size sedan, so they upgraded us to a SUV. Which was 4yrs old with 55k miles beat up with scratches and no speed. Made loud noises. Couldnt find anything nearby to exchange the car

HIGHLY UPSET - I was charged $139.86 instead of $43.57 when I returned vehicle which is $96.29 extra fees. Called & your rep 1st tried to say it was taxes & when I explained that was too high b/c my entire rental was only $159, he reviewed it more. Then said it was convenience fee for not refueling vehicle upon return. I don't understand why I'm charged this when the counter rep who rented me the vehicle specifically told me NOT to refuel, that they have an assembly line return & it speeds things up. He even said the gas would be a better price. NEVER did he say this was an upgraded feature that cost money. NOW I wonder if I will be hit with an upgraded fee since the same counter rep said he was upgrading my car since the one I selected was not available. I have NEVER in my life returned a car without filling up but I know he specifically told me Not to & I even remarked to him that I'd never heard of such & was pleasantly surprised Advantage offers this customer service. I am now regretting that thought because I got the worst customer service in that I was SCAMMED. The rep completely Lied & when he said not to fill up. Worse is that I only used $5.50 worth of gas. I waited an excessive amount of time to get my car. Over an hour and a half. The staffing was very poor. When lunch time came the counter help went from 8 people to three. They should have had replacementS. The rest of the experience was fine but I will have to really consider whether Irent from Advantage again.

Long line at the pickup counter. Saw a bunch of staff that could have helped but just stood around talking to one another. Everyone in line was commenting on it. Drop-off was fast but when I went inside to catch the shuttle I again saw a long line at the pickup counter with people that looked like they could have helped.
The car reeked of dope when we picked it up, but it was the only one left of the size we reserved so we had to take it. As well, your staff dismissed it as a minor issue when I complained about it. We left the car in the garage of the home we rented for three days with the windows open and it still smelled when we returned it.
One of the brake lights didn’t work from the moment we picked it up. Imagine what would happen if I got stopped by a cop for a bad brake light with a car smelling of dope?
I specifically reserved a ski rack when I reserved the car and my reservation confirmation showed it, but there were none to be had. Caused a headache when we tried to load all of our skis. Actually needed to call a friend to rent another, smaller car to carry the people that were displaced by the skis.
Pickup counter staff tried to up sell me on insurance. It is certainly the prerogative of a business to up sell, but they most definitely didn’t have their facts straight regarding the fact that my own insurance policy will cover any rental vehicle I drive, even if it costs more than one of my own vehicles, so they were misleading and I don’t care for that.
Leaving aside the door smell and brake light, the car ran smoothly and was actually quite nice.
The price for the rental was excellent, but all things considered, it wasn’t good value for my money. I rent at National for business trips and while I would have paid quite a bit more, they would never give a customer a vehicle that smells like that; I rarely wait more than a few minutes in line; their staff are courteous; I’ve always gotten the ski rack when I’ve reserved one.
Like: Good mileage. Dislike: Vehicle seemed to have some steering issues. Especially bad handling when going through small dents in the road on the freeway at highway speed. Also there was a big bulls eye in the windshield that looked like an attempt to fix it had been made. Didn't notice it until I drove off the site and immediately went back in to have it noted on my damage sheet. I wondered if I hadn't caught it would I have been charged with the damage? Also I will never rent a car in Colorado ever again due to the crappy new law that requires compensation to the rental company for each day the vehicle may be off the road if it needs repairs. One more step toward Californication of a once great state.
Like: Was given a wonderful brand new hybrid upgrade that saved me lots of money on gas and served my needs better. Kind and helpful staff. Dislike: The line was long at pickup... Seating for folks (elderly, parents with little kids, etc. needed)...
Waited 2 hour in a line of 5 people in front of us and more people behind us, for car pick up. This started at 8:30 at night. The agent tried convincing us that the reserved economy car would not serve us and that we should upgrade to an SUV. He even said we would be getting a Kia Rio. He walks out to pretend to see if the car is ready. He returns saying that only SUV's are available. We go out to the parking lot and there are only around 6 Toyota Sierras and Ford Yukons total automobiles. The 3 agents were all trying to up sell all the customers instead of just telling them upfront that all the other cars were sold out.
The Sierra was not cleaned well, no windshield washer fluid, tire was leaking air, and the "needs maintenance" warning stayed on during the rental.
Dislike: Waiting to pick up the car. There were two to three people working and a line of people out the door waiting. It took us at least 45 minutes to get to an agent.
Like: We reserve a small car. They gave a suburban truck which is so huge. Eats up a lot of gas but on the second thought, we liked it because we ended up taking cadets with us in Colorado springs. We also like the shuttle bus driver which is a lady who took us where we suppose to have our reservations. Dislike: We had a hard time finding where is easy rent a car place. We went first to enterprise. They told us our reservations is not there. I have to search my email and went thru websites, gladly find that are reservations are into advantage..

Long wait in location to pick up the car.
Tried to sell me Ezpass or equivalent in which I really did not need.
I think I asked them about it so it may be my fault but if they say you need a more powerful car don't listen to them.
However the actual car I got and the price I paid was amazing and that is what matters the most, car drove well no problem with it whatsoever aka. did not impair my vacation expect the long wait as location.
Also easy drop off and fast shuttle back the airport.
