Serviced by Hertz Car Rental. Flight Details--You must provide a flight number when picking up a car at Sydney Airport. If a valid flight number is not present, the vehicle will be ready at the DOMESTIC T2 Terminal. Domestic Travellers - There is Rental Collection Counters in Every Terminal at Sydney Airport and all cars are then collected from the main car park area within the Arrivals Level Car Park. This is the same area where all cars are to be returned. International Travellers - The Collection Counter is located within the Terminal and then the car park where the cars are located is directly outside the terminal. This car collection point is also the return area.

Long queue at Hertz counter at Sydney airport. There were only two staff. One family held up the line because they didn’t pre book a car. I suggest 3 lines where two would serve customers who have already reserved their cars and just need to pick up.

The car was fine. The issue was the delay at pick up. I do not understand why the car was not ready for pick up when we arrived. Or why the customer service person did not call for the car when we first arrived. Why did she call after the paperwork was all done and then we had to stand around waiting. Sadly this meant we were late for the function we were attending

The original order was over 300 AUD, but at the pickup location it became over 500 AUD. The deposit refund is very slow. It's been a month and I still haven't received it.

I called to ask about the pickup location, but they completely ignored what I was saying and just kept telling me how to return the car. When I got to the counter, the male clerk aggressively pushed for insurance. He said if I didn't buy it, even a tiny scratch would cost me $6000. Who are they trying to scare!
