The car pickup process was very quick. After checking the documents and papers, I could pick up the car in the parking lot myself, which was very convenient. I recommend using Google Maps for directions to the store. The Milan train station store is easy to find. I returned the car at the Verona train station where the store is at the gas station.

I booked a microcar through QEEQ at the Hertz location in Milan's central train station. However, I couldn't find the location based on the given address and had to wander around a lot before eventually locating it on a side street near the station. Since there were few people, the paperwork was processed fairly quickly. As I planned to return the car in France, the staff offered me a free upgrade to an SUV that had been driven from France. However, the final charge increased from the originally booked price of 680 euros to 850 euros at checkout. Due to urgent matters, I had no choice but to accept the higher cost.

In all my overseas car rentals, this was the worst experience. Most importantly, they did not provide the car I wanted. I booked an Alfa Romeo Giulia but got a Volkswagen Touran instead, claiming it was an upgrade. Do two adults really need an MPV? If it weren't for the rain, my wife and child waiting for an hour and a half, and the long wait time, I would have canceled the order.

Terrible service, arbitrary charges, unclear explanations. I was charged an extra 30 euros for refueling service just because I returned the car with about 5% less fuel, without any prior or on-site notice. I even mentioned the fuel issue when returning the car. Additionally, there were several unexplained charges of tens of euros, which was completely unexpected.
