Waited quite a long time to pick up the car, the staff are friendly and hot drinks are available for free

This company is excellent. They did not push any additional sales during pickup. There were clear images and text showing the various insurance options and upgrade prices. Returning the car was very quick, taking only 5 minutes.

Terrible service at car pick-up, ignorant personel, very rude and unprofessional. Had to wait for manager to come and finish the procedure. At the end we received extremely dirty and old car - over 130k km.

The people at the front counter became extremely short with us. We were working to figure out the credit card situation to pay for the downpayment and they started getting rude when we were asking questions to figure it out. They also made it seem they wanted us to buy the insurance rather then the down payment so they made the down payment as difficult as possible so we would just pay for the insurance.

They charged us 20,000 RMB just for a small dent. It's outrageous.

Provided car was smaller than booked (Volvo v60 5 doors instead VW Passat 4 doors), quite old and with spoiled parking assistance device. Unfortunately we agree to take it. In the middle of journey the car started to deteriorate: rare window wiper was working unproperly and trunk’s door was unable to open. But the company refused to change the car or provide some compensation because “malfunctions are only minor inconveniences”. Also one tire on the car was with very shallow tread, but were to assured “it is legal and safe”. Shuttle to airport after check-out was very slow and probable unsafe: we have waited about 30 minutes, and they have packed 10 passengers in 8-place minivan.

一部のサイトでは空港受け取りとなっているが、実際には送迎シャトルで移動する必要がある(ただしとても近い)。シャトルにはGlobal Rent a Carの表示があるが、降りるとどこにも看板がなく、atakだか他の会社が代行している様子。一応建物の自動ドアにはA4の紙でGlobalRentaCarのロゴが貼ってある

Company took money- but didn’t end up having the car and actually said there is not one on the whole island- took two hours of calling around finally found an old very larg diesel truck like vehicle had over 205k miles no a/c no gps.

Would have liked the car listed (VW Caddy) instead of similar model (Ford Transit). Price was very high, but maybe normal for Iceland?

No problems or issues.

Car was perfectly adequate But rental agreement refers to Avis for airport rental logistics ( there is also Payless sign below Avis) After long wait agent states that this is wrong location and Payless renters have to do all the paperwork at pickup location

Better explanation about specific airport arrangements (or communicating to local agents that signs need to be on display to explain procedure)

This car and the whole renting process were easy and wonderful!

Everything is good. Fast receiving and return.

No problem if you don't speak English; the staff are patient and use Google Translate to communicate. Car pickup is conveniently right at the entrance.

Waited for a long time, and the car model was downgraded.

But the right rear tire sensor was found malfunctiin and spare tire was bursted was not awared. Flattened tire in 2 times and required towing and replacement of one new tire. Fortunately, after negotiation with Procar , they agreed to took full responsibility, and return ine day rental fee.

I got a good vehicle, a Suzuki Jiminy, although it was barely large enough for our luggage. The car performed well but was very expensive. I realize everything in Iceland in the summer is expensive though.

The rental office is far away, instead of taking an airport shuttle bus, a driver picked us up, and the instructions were unclear.
