Easy to pick up the car

Hi there my recent rental reference number refers (45001997). The car was in the most deplorable conditions. I've used your services all over the world this year, namely USA, Australia and Iceland. The car was filthy (not washed or cleaned) upon collection, brakes barely worked, was making a helluva noise, and the icing on the cake was when the cockroaches came out to play when dusk dawned upon the island of Langkawi. Although I appreciated their company, the uninvited guests in my rented car were most unwelcome. Is there a way you can streamline your partners or ensure they provide cars that are decent in condition?!

The car is heavy, (long time to pick up) .

The MPV is dated and not as expected or shown in the website. Wiper is worn out with a lot streaks. There are a lot of scratches around the car and the staff just asked to take a photo or video during collection. It is not practical if there is too many scratches around.

staff helpful and polite. easy to find pickup point at langkawi airport. the pickup and dropoff process were smooth. car condition ok. the only complaints are 1) that the car's braking gives noise, 2) the car check engine light comes on randomly throughout the 4 days rental (giving me a scare but samavest says no problem), 3) the biggest problem is the door central locking couldn't lock properly with the remote control. this is super inconvenient as i had to manually lock all doors (like ancient times) hundreds of times when i leave the vehicle. worst is the renter seems knew about this problem yet they don't go and fix the door central locking. finally 4) warning for future renters - this rental company does not have a Bezza, it is always a Saga from the start, so i am a bit unhappy with being tricked this way (they say "Bezza or similar car"). you should just say it is "almost certainly Saga or similar". i am unhappy because i knew the Saga had 0 airbags while Bezza has at least 2 airbags. i had wanted to avoid the Saga as i do not want to put myself and family in unnecessary risks but alas i got tricked and there i was driving a 0 airbags car for 4 days.

well done. website easy to use. easyrentcars.com also answered my queries by email. easy to download rental vouchers. rental policies are explained very clearly. 10/10 to easyrentcars.com for easy of use. will definitely come back. the only complaint is that the category of car i ordered is non-existent (perodua bezza or similar) - the rental company does not have a bezza, it is always a Saga from the start, so i am a bit unhappy with being tricked this way. you should just say it is Saga or similar. i am unhappy because i knew the Saga had 0 airbags while Bezza has at least 2 airbags. i had wanted to avoid the Saga as i do not want to put myself and family in unnecessary risks but alas i got tricked and there i was driving a 0 airbags car for 4 days. suggestion to easyrentacars.com: in this modern times, you should add a category called "Safety/Airbags".

Clean car and the staff are very helpful. We couldn't find the booth and have missed Mr Izz who was in front of the arrival hall. Nevertheless, we approached another Eurocar staff and she was accommodating to call Mr Izz immediately to inform that we are already at the airport. During the drop-off day, although Mr Izz was on leave and we were about 15 minutes early, the staff politely requested us to wait for the designated staff to arrive from the nearby parking. In summary, it was a pleasant experience...

Amazing and easy to use rental car company, would definitely recommend. Car pick up was a smooth process at Langkawi Airport. Upon arrival and picking up our luggages, we headed straight to the EPTA booth. Lady took a photo of us and told us to head out to the arrival hall (Gate/Pintu 2) and wait. Rental car guy came about 5 minutes later after scheduled pickup time with the car. Car (Perodua Axia) was overall in a good condition. Fuel tank was half filled, so when returning the car, tank has to be half filled at a minimum. After signing a few papers and noting down any scratches/dents, a MYR100 refundable deposit was requested. I only presented my Australian Driver's License and that was acceptable - also there was no upsell of insurance, and I didn't get the insurance through EPTA either. The Perodua Axia was a cheerful little car that took us around the island without skipping a beat. The car however can be underpowered at times, but dropping down to 2nd or 3rd gear will get you going up hill/overtaking quite comfortably. Interior cleanliness of the car could be slightly better however. When returning the car, simply drive it back to the airport and give the guy's number (on the receipt) a ring. Ours came to pick up the car in less than 5 minutes and after a swift inspection for any damage, the deposit was promptly returned. Overall a smooth and seamless experience, and for the price we paid for 4 days of rental, it's amazingly value for money.

The car was picked up and drop off without hassle and done quickly. Explanation was good and thorough.

No issues and price protector not needed

They arranged a staff to wait at the exit gate with a placard bearing driver's name, so finding them was a total breeze. We were then led to the car, inspected it for any existing damages (slight scratches, dents only). Then we drove away. Easy peasy. The car never gave us any problem during the whole rental period. We found Samavest staff efficient, knowledgeable, polite and would recommend the company unreservedly.

I booked Perodua bezza but they upgraded my car to Toyota vios without any additional charges. That’s was great & surprised me.

In my booking confirmation i understand i will get a full tank of petrol and that i was supposed to return with full tank too. However, i was only given 2 bars/level of petrol. The staff said this is their normal practice ie. to give only 2 bars/level of petrol. If this is so, then would suggest that you provide a proper confirmation during our booking.

Booking platform was fine.

Very fast process from pick up and drop off. Good hospitality from their staff. Car is clean and tip top. Eventhough the fuel receive only 2 bars, I have fill up full tank and left with 3 bars without any dispute. Cash deposit also returned back on the spot. Thank you EPTA.

Car rent condition very bad for car. Brake almost finished and didn't services at all. Very dangerous when driving due brake problems. When pick up we ask for changes then not other car xan choose. Terribly
