They pushed additional sales, the staff's English was not good and they were discriminatory towards customers. They couldn't accept UnionPay cards, downgraded my vehicle, and maliciously charged me without any explanation even 20 days later. AVIS in Switzerland is extremely bad. Do not choose this company. This is the worst car rental experience I have had in years of renting cars abroad.

The X1 I rented didn’t come with a spare tire or a temporary parking warning sign. Aren’t these standard? Asking was useless as they simply don’t provide them.

“Just what was needed.”

Like: Easy pick up, easy drop off. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I would like to mention Eddie and Nico at Alamo/Enterprise who were absolutely excellent, knew exactly what they were doing, personable and provided great customer service. An asset to the company.
Dislike: Car was dirty on inside and had chewing gum stuck on outside.

There were only two groups of people picking up cars, but it took a long time. The charged amount at pickup was higher than the order amount, allegedly a deposit, but it wasn't refunded for a long time. When returning the car in the evening, there were no staff available for discussion. The only positive was the convenience of returning the car.

Quick pick-up and return, charged a pre-authorization of 199 CHF, and an additional 99 CHF for an extra driver. The second day of renting, driving from Zurich to Milan, my luggage was stolen from the trunk. Overall experience was bad, especially since I had locked the car, but the items were still stolen without breaking the windows. Very puzzled.
