Charged a lot of extra fees

Originally booked a full-size SUV online, but they refused to provide one at the counter. They were very firm, only offering a small Dodge mini van. We had four people, three being women, and a lot of luggage. The reasons for booking a full-size SUV were for storage space and safety, as American roads are often either mountainous or desolate. Instead, they gave us a mini van. It was very disappointing. QEEQ's negotiation attempts were futile. The rental company only provided that one type of car. Before booking, I repeatedly confirmed with customer service that a full-size SUV would be available, and I paid in full. The difference in car models was significant. They didn't even offer a basic SUV. When dealing with QEEQ, they suggested alternatives like a Jeep Cherokee or Wrangler, which I would have accepted. After long discussions, the rental company still didn't offer even a Hyundai Santa Fe mid-size SUV. We wasted a lot of time, and my throat got dry from all the talking. We stood awkwardly in the rental office with no resolution. The rental company was very firm, and their manager just watched, making none of the staff willing to help. There was no sense of service, and it disrupted our plans, forcing us to change our hotel reservations.

I was up graded to a Sarah jeep. I got 30 mile away and could no longer keep the jeep on the road. The front end had a problem. Even over the smallest bump it would shake uncontrollably. I called the office and was told they could not bring me another car. I should drive back slowly with my hazard lights on. I did what I was told, however I did not feel safe. I was given a car to replace the jeep. this company dose not check out there cars before they defend them. I know this for a fact. I brought back my car and it was immediately resented while I was waiting for the shuttle bus.

no. it's an old broken down vehicle that was dirty and full of snow that took forever to get and forever to return. Sucked!

Staff is polite and respectful. Although, I could see that the staff was buzy, they kept a smile. They worked as a team. Good job on the staff

The first car I've got was broken. Give them a credit they fond replacement car fast enough. At the end got an additional 12% charge for... they are not sure for what. Apparently they don't list all charges on the quote. BE ADVISED!!!!!!!

The African-American staff looked down on Chinese people. We had already bought insurance in China, but they tricked us into buying full coverage.

At Chicago airport, I waited over an hour for the shuttle bus. When I called to ask, the attitude was poor. We finally got the car after 9 PM. The rental company is much farther from the airport compared to others. The return process was normal; we filled the tank and washed the car as instructed. Unexpectedly, I received an additional charge six months later. I had purchased the full insurance, the most comprehensive one, and there were no incidents or violations. This company is terrible. Remember the old saying: 'You get what you pay for.' Be cautious when choosing a rental company.

Originally booked vehicle was fine without an upgrade, but was misled by sales into an unnecessary upgrade. Sales also misled about fuel charges, road tolls, etc., and didn't install an automatic payment device. Very poor experience.

Car rental process was fast, service was good

They were busy when I picked up my car and yes I had to wait 30 minutes

Routes is off-site and not in the new car rental building at ORD. It was not difficult to get to, but required a second van trip. Person behind the counter seemed anxious to leave and not very friendly, but the process was smooth and efficient. A Jeep Wrangler was substituted for the Rogue. It is very boxy and not fun to drive as it was very windy. When we got the car, no one volunteered to go over the controls and features. However, when asked, one outside worker did a pretty good job of showing them. It is easier to get in and out of Routes than it is the car rental building at ORD.

About 25 days after returning the car, unexplained charges appeared. Even now, over a month later, I can't determine the cause, which is disappointing.
