I, along with four other ladies, planned a 14-day trip with lots of luggage and decided to rent a car in Istanbul. This was the only company with a large automatic car available, so we booked it. Upon arrival, we waited for almost an hour and then called to be picked up and taken to the office. We were driven to a very dark side street, at least 10 kilometers from the airport, with only a dimly lit parking lot and no other staff in sight. We called the number provided by the platform, and the person on the phone told us to sign the contract with the driver first, and then he would provide the car. After signing, they handed us a manual car with no fuel, contrary to our booking. We protested, but the person on the phone insisted that we had booked a manual car. Our complaints were ignored. I then called customer service. They were polite and patient but couldn't resolve the issue. Due to the late hour, we had no choice but to pay someone to drive us to our destination. To keep up with our itinerary, we had two options: 1. Return the car and fly; 2. Wait for the company to provide the correct car. They insisted we had booked a manual car, and despite multiple calls with customer service, the company begrudgingly agreed to a swap but couldn't guarantee the timing, clearly trying to make things difficult. So, I opted for the return, which the car company refused. Frustrated, we booked flights and left the car (for which we had to fill the gas) at the hotel for the company to pick up. Initially, they claimed they couldn't collect the car, but the hotel later confirmed they did take it that same day. I've only shared around 60% of the details here, but you can imagine our frustration. The platform's support was patient and tried to help but ultimately didn't solve the problem, largely just comforting me. The customer service assured us that an after-sales ticket was created and the issue would be resolved once I returned home. It's been 15 days since I came back, neither the rental fee prepaid on the platform has been refunded, nor the company has returned the 600 Lira deposit. Why was the deposit deducted? The gas tank was full when we left! This car company is unfit for business on this platform; I genuinely suspect it's a scam.

So, I opted to return the car, but the rental company refused. We had to book flights in a rush and leave the car (which I had refueled) at the hotel for the company to retrieve. The company claimed they couldn't pick it up, but the hotel informed us that the car had been collected that same day. The details I shared are just about 60% of the ordeal; you can imagine our frustration. The rental platform was patient and tried to help but couldn't resolve the issue, mostly just comforting me. Customer service said they had established an after-sales ticket and would resolve the issue when I returned home. I had no choice but to leave it at that. Service was good and they gave me GPS free of charge . Car was not very clean but it was acceptable. The only negative point that they don't have a counter inside airport. You need to go out to column 20 and wait there for 20 min
I had full insurance coverage
After accident I provided police report and they said since i dont have copy of other car insurance paper i cannot use my insurance coverage!!!!!
This was not my fault at all
They cheated me and charged my credit card twice with fake signature they put on transaction reciept on my behalf... when I complained they forced to return one of the charges
Teslim alma ve bırakma süresi 5-10 dk arasında. Manuel araç yerine daha iyisi olan otomatik araç verdiler. Ancak HGS geçiş ücretini normalin 2 katı kestiler. Bunun gerekçesi de her 20 tl için hgs den 4 tl alınmasıymış. Öyle olsa bile yine 2 katı etmiyor.
Ford fiesta görünen araç yerine renault clio verdiler. Bunda sorun yok muadili sonuçta. Ancak araç pisti. Daha doğrusu koltuklar lekeli ve sigara yanığı ile doluydu. Frenlerinde, ön takımlarında, lastiklerinde sorun vardı. 2 defa ön lastiklere hava vurmak zorunda kaldım. Araçtan çok trim sesi geliyordu. Şanzımanda da sorun olacak ki vites geçişleri zor yapılıyordu.
Slightly annoying that the pickup location was way off airport. Needed to call the company for them to dispatch a pickup and take us to the airport. If dropping at IST, spare an extra HOUR at least for the dropoff process.
