The female staff was very nice. There was no aggressive upselling of extra insurance, no charge for drivers under 25, and no fee for adding an additional driver.
The rental drop off is not in the airport terminal. You need to take a shuttle bus to the terminal. I told them I have lots of luggage, and it will be difficult to carry it onto the bus, so one of the Hertz team members drove me to the terminal, meaning I did not have to unload the car!
I am very disappointed with this rental company. Firstly, despite clearly stating at the counter that we did not need any additional services, they still added over 1,000 RMB in fees. When we protested, the staff crossed out the fees with a pen and told us not to worry, but the charges were still deducted after returning the car. Multiple negotiations have not resolved the issue, leaving me extremely disappointed with Hertz!!!
Furthermore, the quality of this Model 3 was particularly poor. The exterior was covered in scratches, the interior was heavily soiled, and most importantly, it had severe wind leakage far worse than other Model 3s.
Additionally, we specifically asked the store staff and were told that charging was free, but we were still charged for it after returning the car.
Overall, this was a very unsuccessful and unpleasant car rental experience, and our complaint is still ongoing…
Very satisfied. The staff here are very friendly and do not try to push unnecessary insurance on customers. However, it is recommended that when picking up the car, you clearly express your chosen insurance in English. For drivers with adequate experience, basic liability insurance is sufficient. Be clear about your needs to avoid being upsold on extra insurance.
On my e-voucher, it said I would have to take a shuttle to 2860 Del Paso. I just took the shuttle to the airport rental place and got my car there on Aviation drive. It went really quickly.

The counter staff was professional and helpful. I had a little trouble hearing him because of the mask. With one person ahead of me at the counter, it took about 15 minutes for me to get to the counter. Between Hertz, Thrifty and I think it was Dollar, it would be nice to have a floater to handle any counter that needs the extra help.

Specific vehicle hired was not avaliable at pick up. We had specifically wanted a 4 wheel drive as we planned on going to the snow. We offered a 2 wheel drive as an alternative which was not what we were after. Unfortunately had to pay for an upgrade but did get a good discount although it was still expensive for a two week hire.
There were quite a few people picking up cars, so I didn't get the model I wanted. However, I found the Jeep quite nice, especially for mountain and snowy areas.
