Like: The car was clean and nice driving.
Fawzi is a great guy. He is professional and helpful with fast response.
I also liked the price I paid for the rent period.
Returning the car in the airport helped me a lot. Dislike: Can’t complain according to my experience.
We returned the car with fuel, but they said they couldn't refund us. It took us a long time to find the location in Amman, only to discover they had moved. Too troublesome.
Got really confused today! The return location was the Avis store at Jordan’s Aqaba Airport. When I got there, they said the store was gone! Totally shocked! Luckily, a staff member from another car rental company passing by called the city’s Avis store and had them rush to the airport to solve the problem! Caused a headache! It delayed us by an hour and a half! The Avis staff also charged us 15 Jordanian Dinar!
Like: Good Service but the Vehicle had to be changed due to some due to some noise and technical problems. The vehicle was changed to my convenience where I was at that time. The pickup and drop process was also very efficiency. Dislike: The vehicle had to be changed
I booked the car one day in advance. Upon arriving in Aqaba at 1 PM, I waited at the agreed pick-up location in the airport for three hours but couldn't get in touch with anyone. Later, I took a taxi to another pick-up location provided by customer service, but again, I waited an hour without seeing my order. Finally, at 6:30 PM, my order was found.
Like: We hired car from airport. Staff friendly. We took wifi along with car. Hence we didn't face problem while travelling. They gave us Sunny new car. Car is good condition and we didn't face problem. While returning also staff also friendly. Overall it is good. Dislike: They didn't give receipt while after handover of the car. They told no need of the receipt . Money which we deposited is reversed. They bank statement receipt. Hope we will not face any problem. Also when we took car petrol was 1 level. We were expecting full level. When we informed them, they filled 3 level and gave. It was ok.
The promised airport pick-up didn't show up initially; I had to call them to come. When I paid the remaining amount, they mentioned that using a Visa card would incur high fees, so they suggested I pay in cash. It was already past 11 PM, so I didn't think much and paid in cash. It turned out I overpaid by around 130 RMB. They also tried to sell me insurance, saying that even a small scratch would cost me 500 USD because car repairs are expensive in Jordan, which wasn't a pleasant experience.
The uncle in Jordan was very enthusiastic, the procedures and processes were fairly standardized, and there were no major issues. However, we couldn't find the rental store on the day we arrived, and waited for a long time in the scorching sun for them to pick us up. Several calls went unanswered. Also, it's common to get a car with an empty tank in Jordan.
Firstly, the car pickup location in Amman was different from the one listed on the rental website. Additionally, the email from the car rental company provided a new address, but upon arrival, we couldn't find it as the rental office had moved roughly 500 meters from the original address. Annoyingly, no one answered the phone at the office. We had to find it ourselves, wandering around for quite some time and eventually asking locals for directions. The car pickup process was not smooth either. The fuel tank was empty with the warning light on, and when we asked the staff, they said we had to fill it up ourselves. There was no contract stipulating a full tank at pickup. When we contacted rental customer service, they could only advise us to communicate with the staff, so we had to fill up the tank ourselves. The car was very old and had numerous marks noted on the inspection report. There were no onboard tools or emergency markers, and they had to take them from another car. The car return location was different from the one on the website, and we had to ask a nearby Hertz car rental office for directions. Since the car was not picked up with a full tank, we returned it with less than half a tank, costing us at least 150 yuan in fuel money, which the rental company wouldn't reimburse.
