Long line at pick up location which is not at the airport. Green motion has a shuttle that picks up at the airport and the car lot is 10 minutes away. Took 1 hour from arriving at Green motion before I was able to complete the paperwork and drive off the lot. Very short staffed.
The car was cool, the Volt plug in didn't work. Service was long but staffed was trying it seems. Still disappointed in their California office though.
The car that was given had expired tags. An officer noticed this while I was in Starbucks parking lot and was nice by letting me go without a ticket since it was a rental.
Like: Was good transfer to airport Very nice people Dislike: I did not like the sunpass charge that we did not know we had to purchase. That was a rip off. I could have paid all my tolls for around 30.00 I went through. They scare you into taking it saying 50.00 if you go through a toll booth with the ones that you have to have a sunpass on your car.They should tell you all about that charge before you rent
Like: I was upset with this company at the beginning however the customer service rep made everything worthwhile.Only the 1st hundred miles are covered in your reservation anything after that cost extra. Dislike: When I walked in to pick up my car rental, I was shocked to find that if you live in the state of Florida,Only the 1st hundred miles are covered in your reservation anything after that cost extra.
Like: The cars there are affordable and they have never taken advantage of us. There are cheaper cars at different locations but buyer beware. Green Motion was the best value for a newer car for the lowest price. Dislike: The upsell on toll booth pass was a bit much. The person said he couldn't say if all the toll booths had manual lanes. What? On public highways? Bad tactic. We skipped that add on. Also the GPS unit was left in our car from the previous renter. We promptly returned it before leaving to make sure we weren't charged daily for it.
