Like: The cars there are affordable and they have never taken advantage of us. There are cheaper cars at different locations but buyer beware. Green Motion was the best value for a newer car for the lowest price.
Dislike: The upsell on toll booth pass was a bit much. The person said he couldn't say if all the toll booths had manual lanes. What? On public highways? Bad tactic. We skipped that add on. Also the GPS unit was left in our car from the previous renter. We promptly returned it before leaving to make sure we weren't charged daily for it.

I rented my car through EasyRentCars, and brought the Voucher I received from that company.
On my arrival at the pick up location at Green Motion,
7640 Narcoossee Rd, Orlando, Fl 32822, I handed the colleague the printed version on this Voucher, and a printed version of the receipt I received from EasyRentCars.
I explained that I did not need any further insurance, and directed her to read the Voucher. She did so.
I agreed that I wanted the transponder activated for the toll roads. And agreed that the gas tank was fueled to between 1/2 and 1/4.
When she asked me to sign for payment, I queried the amount of 227.90, as my voucher says that the amount due on pick-up was USD 46.25. Obviously the transponder would be additional to that, but still not 227.90.
She assured me that the balance was simply a pre-auth to cover a USD 100 fee in case of smoking in the car, and a USD 200 fee in case of damage to the rims.
I asked if there were any extras in this cost, other than the 46.25 due on collection, and the additional cost of the transponder. She assured me that there were no other charges and the actual payment would be as shown on my Voucher, and the balance of the amount was only a pre-authorisation.
I dropped the car back to Green Motion,
7640 Narcoossee Rd, Orlando, Fl 32822 on time, undamaged, not smoked in, and with the gas at 1/2 a tank, and was shown immediately to the shuttle to the airport.
I received the emailed invoice after I had cleared security at Orlando Airport, and I tried to telephone the pick up location, but was unable to connect.
The invoice shows a number of additional charges not mentioned in my rental voucher with EasyRentCars.
I am less than impressed with this as I worked hard to convey what I needed, what I had paid for, and what I expected.
The car was great, as was the shuttle and service that excludes the financial aspect

Not truthful about area tolls, deliberately pushing their EZ Pass device with exaggerations and lies.
Tried to charge me for a second driver just because my traveling companion was paying the vehicle - that’s ridiculous!
Claimed they would e-mail receipts at pickup and return, but never did - despite my telling them I hadn’t received either.
Other car companies wouldn’t be renting out visibly damaged cars like the one I received.

American Express credit card was not accepted at this location. We were charged extra each day plus needed to put a deposit down. This caused our bank to lock our banking cards due to they believed fraud transaction was occurring. Had to send more time on the phone with our bank to correct this so we could use our banking cards while on our trip.
The vehicle smelled like smoke. There was no keyfob or electric windows. I will never rent from someone other than Hertz, Enterprise, or other nationally known rental cars. Never experienced this kind of problem with these companies or when we rented an economic vehicle from them it was always electric doors, windows, etc.

My reservation was cancelled , even though my flight was early, and they had cars available. I was told I would have to go online to get another reservation and then I would have to wait an Additional 30 minutes for it to show up in her system even though I had waited 30 minutes for the shuttle and another 30 at the counter. Staff was rude and did not even apologize.
No one could find out why it was cancelled. Van driver was friendly.
Wasted almost 2 hrs. Took the shuttle back and walked right up to another counter to get a car (perfect driving record, over 25, and rent frequently) Thought I would try this company. Never again and have already took friends to Never rent, or Park there, ever.

At the location, there was only one couple before me in the line but it still took > 20 mins to complete the booking for them. Counter times were awful. Very slow moving considering many of your cars are rented around flight schedules.
When I got into the car I realize that there was less than half a tank of gas - but couldn't go back due tot already being behind schedule from getting the car. The girl at the counter told me that I had to bring it back filled 7/8 full... So I ended up putting in basically almost a half a tank of gas that I didn't get to use and paid extra for.

I was unhappy with the customer service as I was quoted with one price upon booking and when I arrived at the counter they made me take insurance that they said was not on my policy. After calling my insurance agent he said that he had never heard of being forced to take that. Then they “recommended” that I buy the sun pass for tolls saying we couldn’t pay for them on the highway. This is not the case, they just don’t take cash. Therefore, we spent $69 on sunpass when in actuality our tolls probably cost a total of $10.

From shuttles not picking me up at the airport, to no one answering calls at the desk so that I could get picked up as shuttles kept passing me by (apparently the spots they tell you to wait at for ground transportation are the wrong spots), to the sales clerk trying to give me an unsafe car he tried to give to two parties in front of me that each denied, this was an awful experience. The first car he tried to give me I was told was an "Upgrade"...well, it clearly had been in an accident as the front driver bumper was dented in and cracked, along with duct tape on the rear driver door. The car I ended up getting was dirty with Pretzels and a lighter under the driver seat, a "Maint. Required, see your Dealer" warning light with constant chiming, and collision chiming continually going off, and an empty tank of gas. I was not told proper directions on dropping the car off; I was told to be there at 4:30am, but I was not told that there would not be counter staff available or proper directions of where to drop off car. This was a terrible experience, start to finish, and I will not rent with this company again.

The car was perfect for meeting our needs, my main issue was the hidden costs. Which we were very angry about. We were advised to pay $12 dollars a day for toll roads as a number of them across Orlando and liable to high cost fines. Over the period we travelled on 2 Toll roads that would have cost us $5 so feeling well ripped off. Advised we did not need. To refuel then when we returned car charged $42 dollars when I asked how much if went and put fuel was toldI would have less then half an hour to get it fuelled and returned or would. Be charged another day’s hire. As I said felt completely ripped off. When we returned the car one family returned to airport to go to one of mainstream car hire providers due to the costs they were to pay the costs not previously mentioned.

The company required a supplemental liability insurance of $25.99 per day when I picked up the car. It left me no choice but to purchase it.If it was mentioned when booking, I would never choose this one or at least rent for less days. Cost me around $130 on more supplemental liability insurance and the cost is more than the rental fee. Be careful .

However 1) it took over 30 minutes to be picked up (the "Omni" markings on the van were much more apparent than the "Green Motion" markings, which resulted in us almost missing the van), 2) the person at the pick-up counter was unfriendly, unaccomodating, made a big issue of our personal insurance, promoted the Green Motion tollway rip-off policy/pricing way too hard, indicated that the car's gas tank was half-full but input on the rental agreement that it was full, 3) when we returned the car with gas tank half-full as instructed, upon return, the return agent tried to charge us $90 for gas, 4) lastly, at $500 dollars, this was by far the largest deposit I had to pay for a rental car -- and for a rental that was only $160!!!. All that together means I won't be using Green Motion again.

Green Motion is HORRIBLE. I will never give my business to them ever again. I had 2 car reservations which I need to get reimbursed for since Green Motion cancelled my reservation without informing me. Although I called three times and I called the night before to confirm and spoke with Melissa who failed to mention to me that my reservation will be cancelled. I told her initially when I made my reservation I called the same time to adjust the time since my flight was landing later in the day. I was informed by a young man who assured me that they have 24 hr grace period and I have nothing to worry about. Melissa said the same thing when I called the night prior to confirm. She said we are now more strict on that policy but I’ll make a note on the account. She than hung up on me. I called couple of times and she saw my no in the caller ID and wouldn’t answer. Than I called from my work no and she answered immediately. I told her I had few more questions. She assured me that my reservation would be fine. If they record the conversation I highly suggest to go back and listen to those calls. You’ll know the truth. I asked multiple times confirming with her that I will not run into this problem. I had elderly parents, aunts and uncle, siblings, and my nephew with me. Now think about it would I drag my elderly parents and aunt and uncle and a child after traveling all day if I had known they would do this. NO I WOULD NOT. Anyhow, very very disappointing. They were not even willing to accommodate.
The lady at the front desk was rude and it felt like she didn’t want to be bothered. Also told me there were no cars available. I had to take 9 family members back to the airport and thanks to Budget Rental Car they accommodated me ASAP. Never ever will I do business with them.

I had a very bad experience with Green Motion on pickup. Due to weather in my departure city I arrived early and tried to pick up my car 4 hours early. I was more than willing to add an extra day to my rental at the rate I booked with you. The counter personnel was rude and then told me it would be $200.00 to get a car 4 hours early. I waited the 4 hours and then they charged me more than agreed upon in my rental agreement with easyrentcars.com. You are reimbursing me in the next couple of days. It was a lot of hassle and extra effort. I would prefer not to use Green motion in the future. This is the 4th time I have used easyrentcars in the past 8 months and I do think you are a good company but should stop using Green Motion.
