Painful pickup in MEL. Painful drop in SYD. Pricewatch worked and saved some money

They didn't pick us up at the agreed time. We waited at the airport for two and a half hours, only managed to reach them once and were told to wait at the Royal Park entrance. After that, we couldn't get through again. They later blamed us, claiming we didn't find them at the agreed location. The next day, we arranged to pick up the car, but were told we were late and the car was already rented out. WTF! Our entire Melbourne itinerary was messed up! So unreliable. If you're going to Melbourne, better rent from a chain company. This one is extremely unreliable.

The car was not up to my expectation in terms of the condition of car(quite dirty inside), waited for another car but it was same as previous one which I just took it.

The counter service was good.

The first car offered was a larger one than we booked- we asked to change to the car we booked (Toyota Corolla hatch). A Hyundai 30 was offered, which we accepted. However there were some technical problems with the car and the service officer had to find another one. 3 cars and more than 1 hour from arriving at the pick up point. The customer service was fine, it appears there may be a quality assurance problem. The drop off went extremely well. All customer service staff were very polite and helpful.
