Operating hours make it easy to contact. The company mainly provides off-road vehicles, which are suitable for self-driving in South Island's road conditions, but the fuel consumption is high.

The first car Apex tried to give me had dangerously low tread. The staff member insisted it was fine and showed me a sheet with the tread depth between 3mm and 4mm. I insisted on another car with safer tyres. The 2nd car had very soft brakes, an exhaust rattle and black oil. The cars seem to be poorly maintained
