We reached the car rental office much earlier than expected as the custom clearance was much smooth than expected and our flight reached the airport earlier than expected. When we requested if we can collect the car earlier (it was only 1 hr earlier ) with the offer and promise to return an hour earlier than expected time , we were told that we had to pay 15 Euros more which I declined. When I returned to the counter at the agreed pick up time later ; to my surprise the car was not ready as it had to be sent from another terminal . The waiting time was more than an hour and they did not offer any sincere apologies nor express sense of urgency . This resulted me in spending more than 2 hours in total waiting for the car ! :( .

Booking via QeeQ was quite smooth ; though I bought comprehensive insurance too via QEEQ I was told by recordgo that it does not cover full insurance if I had cross border journey ; which was what I needed . At the end , to be on the safe side I bought insurance from RecordGo as I wanted piece of mid when I crossed the border into France . Perhaps I need to be more careful with insurance coverage on cross border journey and full support

Denying responsibility for added charges at pick up, unwilling to remove them from the agreement. We will never use them again

I am in dispute for 32. 26 Euros for service and refueling , I returned the vehicle with full tank and clean

Smal plastic cover on driver's door handle at the lock went missing during hire. At drop off I pointed this out and was told someone had tried to break in as he demonstrated that the door lock did not work. There didn't appear to be any damage and I only used the remote control to gain entry and for locking. Anyhow I was not in a position to argue and accepted the repair cost 444 euros. which is very steep. Thankfully I was able to claim the full cost through my excess car hire insurance I purchased separately before we travelled. Can't fault RecordGo as they did email the damage report to me to enable the insurance company to agree the claim.

Beware of hidden fees! While the entire rental was very good, the car was brand new, and the staff very friendly. I would not recommend renting from Record because of the hidden fees. We were charged €102 advance for fuel which we were told would be refunded if we returned the car full. We were refunded only partial as there is a €31.88 for Fuel and Service fee even though the car was returned filled with fuel.
