I had to wait in line for nearly two hours and was forced to rent a car without a reservation, costing me $393.01 for one day.
They offer the lowest prices online, making it very busy here. Many people waited in line for over an hour just to reach the counter. Then, they informed me that my reservation didn’t exist. After spending nearly two hours there, I agreed to rent a Suburban as a walk-in, thinking it was a system error since they mentioned they had just upgraded their computer system that morning at 10am.
Instead of paying $466 per week as per my reservation, I ended up paying $393.01 for just one day. A one-day rental costs as much as a week's reservation.
I called customer service and realized later that this was a company-wide practice: they lure you in with low prices and then overcharge you.
