The reserved car was not available, and they should not have given us a downgraded vehicle which was too small to fit our luggage.

The rental location had only 2 employees. When I arrived, there was no line, and I only had to wait a short while. As long as you book in advance, everything can be arranged.

HERTZ is a well-known rental company, and people are familiar with it. The process is relatively simple, but the car condition this time was not great. It's a 2012 car, consumes a lot of fuel, and has low-end features.

Overall, the experience was quite smooth. We had purchased full insurance in advance, so we did not encounter any upselling. When the oil light came on during the trip, we were able to switch to another car easily with the help of a Chinese-speaking translator over the phone. Returning the car was also very convenient. The condition of both cars was good, about 60-70% new. Overall, highly satisfied!

We had to wait quite a while for pick up for no reason really. The gentleman who served was polite and friendly but the lady was quite rude. There was also 3 drivers I presume who are hertz employees and I felt 2 of them we’re very unprofessional and unpleasant to 1 in front of us. Dropped off out of hours and had no envelope so had to fine pen and paper to write details on and post through.
