Excellent service.

At the Christchurch International Airport branch, even though I bought the super full insurance, they recommended a deposit-free direct compensation for up to 2500 NZD with a 300 NZD premium, which I didn't opt for. Also, I purchased the fuel-empty return option in Queenstown but felt it was overpriced; they charged 135 NZD while the fuel price was 1.98 NZD per liter.

I returned the car with a full tank, but EZI deducted money without proper investigation. When I first requested a refund, they didn't investigate or acknowledge the issue, which is fraudulent.

When picking up the car, they scared me by saying that without full insurance, even the slightest scratch would cost me 2500 NZD. So, I had to pay another 390 NZD for insurance. At the time of return, the staff checked the car inside and out in my presence and confirmed everything was okay. However, three or four hours later, they charged me 250 NZD without any notice. When I contacted them, they claimed I smoked in the car, which I absolutely did not. This is extortion! They only mentioned I could resolve it by hiring a lawyer. From start to finish, they find ways to cheat customers. This is a crooked company! Fellow users, do not fall for it. I will persistently argue with them until the end!

We waited for the car for an hour on the day of arrival, which was quite frustrating. However, the car was upgraded for free, and we were given an additional three hours for returning it. The staff at noon were very friendly.
