The staff was very friendly. My translation document didn't have a photo, but they helped upgrade and resolve the issue. Larger cars have better visibility, and it's essential to choose a bigger car in the US.

It was actually Fox Rent A Car, which evidentally is the local affiliate of Europcar. Required a foreign license - US license plus overseas tickets in and out was not enough. Staff said spouse could drive but paperwork at the end said otherwise.

Everything was easy. Very good price. Clear on insurance, which is necessary for those coming from outside the US.

John on the counter was great, very friendly and accommodating, but he was a bit evasive about what extras I needed to pay for and why. In the end they were added on without further consultation.

When we arrived they told us they had no automatic vehicles, despite the reservation being made a month in advance and specifying that this was a requirement. They told us someone was returning one and we would have to wait. After an hour, they gave us the car which was actually a large SUV. We were told it would be a compact Toyota Prius or similar. This meant we spent way more in fuel costs than we should have. Unacceptable. We spent more than 50€ on a half a tank, and had no need for a vehicle this size. The vehicle was also not cleaned between the previous person and us, so it was quite dirty.

Car was in terrible condition. There were cigarette burns and stains on the seats. You could tell the car was previously in an accident because of all the scrapes, missing paint, and the car panels kept popping out. They also tried making me pay for the car again even though it was prepaid. This was this biggest waste of time. Then I had to call to sort it out and they are located in Europe and it was difficult to communicate with them. Scammers!
