Dollar is truly reliable, and the vehicle condition is excellent. The only downside is that you need to withstand the sales pitch from the staff. They might suggest upgrading the vehicle or buying Roadsafe among other things, which depend on your own needs. Sometimes if your English isn't very good, you might end up agreeing to something unnecessary because you didn't fully understand.

The car was in very good condition, with only 6,000 miles when I got it. I drove over 2,000 miles in two weeks with no issues. With a 3.6L engine, the fuel consumption was 24 miles per gallon, and with California's average of $4 per gallon, it was very economical. The car was very clean, having just been washed when I picked it up, with water droplets still on the surface. At the rental office, the staff tried hard to upsell me to a large Lincoln SUV, claiming it was an upgrade, but it would have cost an extra $20 per day. I didn't fall for their sweet talk and stuck to the model I had booked. It was very spacious and comfortable. In summary: Stick to what's right, not what's expensive :) Dollar didn't offer a full-tank return option, which was not ideal.
