Various scams. An Indian guy said I had to buy the insurance and refused to listen when I said no. He even refused to take a call from our Chinese coordinator! Eventually, he left the counter and hid. A woman came over to tell us our car was too small and suggested we upgrade to a bigger one. I said no, we need to resolve this issue. She replied, if you want to resolve it, find the guy from before because it's not my problem!

I returned the car one hour later than the time on my order, and the rental company charged me 532 yuan and an additional two days of rent. Earlier, I called the car rental customer service to ask for a delayed return, and they told me to contact the store. I rented the car from you, what are you doing? Nobody answered the phone at the store, which was very inconvenient. It was really terrible.

Do not rent a car from Dollar in the US!!! / Do not rent from Dollar in the US. I had to wait in line for nearly two hours and was forced to rent a car without a reservation, costing me $393.01 for one day. They offer the lowest prices online, making it very busy here. Many people waited in line for over an hour just to reach the counter. Then, they informed me that my reservation didn’t exist. After spending nearly two hours there, I agreed to rent a Suburban as a walk-in, thinking it was a system error since they mentioned they had just upgraded their computer system that morning at 10am. Instead of paying $466 per week as per my reservation, I ended up paying $393.01 for just one day. A one-day rental costs as much as a week's reservation. I called customer service and realized later that this was a company-wide practice: they lure you in with low prices and then overcharge you.

Car was perfect for my trip and good value too. An easy and pleasant rental experience.
