When we got there and wanted to add an extra driver, they required us to buy insurance for the driver. We had previously rented cars in the US and Australia, and it went smoothly. We consulted the rental platform, and they confirmed that we could simply add a driver without having to buy insurance, as we already had it for the car. However, the store staff disagreed. A very beautiful lady, but with a terrible attitude, argued with us for the whole morning. The rental company's customer service also called to help communicate. Finally, we decided not to add the driver. The staff agreed and simply crossed out the additional fee with a pen, without printing a new contract. Trusting Europeans to be honest, we didn't object. When we returned the car, we found out they never changed it in the computer system, and we still ended up with the insurance!

Avis's company. They messed up with insurance and scared me off. The rental was 800 yuan, but the insurance they sold was 260 euros.
