Rented a RAV4 through the rental service, but it was unavailable. Although we were upgraded to a Volkswagen Tiguan, which is noticeably smaller, the rear seats were at a 90-degree angle, making long rides uncomfortable. However, the Tiguan was safer for long distances. Appreciate the upgrade. The full insurance coverage was reassuring, and the pickup and drop-off were simple.
It felt like renting a tractor. All four tires were worn down to the steel wires. At 70 mph, the entire car shook. It was very dangerous! Called the rental company throughout the trip, but no one ever picked up! Couldn't reach anyone. Never renting from this company again.
