Long wait time, customer service kept pushing insurance and car upgrades. The first quote was nearly $300, which I refused. Then they said there was a discount for China Eastern or Air China members, obviously trying to rip me off. When I still refused, they said they didn't have the model I wanted and gave me a car parked in a corner. After dragging our luggage around to find the car, the tank was empty. I went back to the service desk, and they gave me another car at the opposite end of the lot. It took an hour and a half in total! They claim to be the biggest company.
Hertz is a reputable large car rental company, the procedures are simple, pick-up and drop-off are convenient, and they have a good reputation. Recommended.
