Affordable prices

I read the rental policy several times. They require us to return the car with a full tank to avoid extra charges. However, the rental company imposed a prepayment for fuel when they authorized the card. No matter if you return the car with a full tank, they still charge this prepayment. Now, I'm trying to get this money back from the rental company, but it's been a month with no progress. Can’t the rental platform refund me first?
