Everything went smoothly when picking up the car in Göreme, but returning the car at Izmir airport was a nightmare! Our flight was at 4:15 PM, we arrived at the airport at 1 PM, but couldn't find the return location and couldn't reach anyone on the phone. I had to run to the airport by myself to ask for help, running from the international terminal to the domestic terminal, struggling with the language barrier and fearing we'd miss our flight. After finally finding the Avis counter, I expected someone to help guide us back to our car, but the staff were too busy and told me to go find it myself. It took two hours in total, and we finally returned the car after 3 PM. Luckily, the flight was delayed, otherwise we would have missed it! I ended up crying in the airport parking lot out of frustration!

The service is very good.

Very bad service and a very in polite front office lady. She lied by saying they don’t have XC 60 Volvo that we booked within fleet but up on drop off we found it returned on the same day! Totally in ethical and not accepted . Will never deal with AVIS and I demand a refund for the rent fee difference .
