On collecting the car the counter staff advised that booking directly with Ace was easier than booking with Easyrent. The full insurance would be straight forward and the details simpler.

“Christchurch to Queenstown with Excellent Ace Car Rentals.”

Was raining lightly when we picked the car up, so going over it for damage was a little difficult. Not used to online signing, being 70+ we're old school. Drop off was a breeze and the lady was extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The shuttle to the airport was great.

In hindsight, i probably should have organised the insurance bit before picking up the car.

Great service and great car - no issues at all. At drop off location, they even used their shuttle bus to drop me somewhere other than the airport (not a big detour though) - nice touch.
