Got wrong information when called for assistance to get to shuttle. Very frustrated with with this experience & altitude of people answering phone. We walked b ack & forth 2 times carrying heavy luggage.
O`hare us in transition. We should have been notified prior to day of pick up of changes & given direction.
The staff had a lackadaisical attitude, chatting casually, working inefficiently. It took 30 minutes to pick up the car and another 30 minutes to complete the paperwork. Very unprofessional! Even after returning the car, I was charged after 20 days. I will not rent from this company again. I don't know how this platform selects rental companies. Routes is terrible!
Should have been told in the email that outlined process that there would be a van, that it was offsite. No one we asked at the O’Hare car rental area recognized the co from email. Lost a lot of time trying to figure it out.
Great value, and I'll probably use Routes again in a few years. But the drop off process must be streamlined: There was a guy to check the mileage/status of the vehicle, but with Enterprise when I give him the keys and sign a slip that he can print mobile, then I'm done. 3 minutes. Instead I had to wait in line for 40 minutes to talk with a very frustrating and loud woman, who contradicted what her boss had just told me to do (which was, to get in her line). Then she left for 15 minutes. Her boss, or maybe it was another person at the counter, helped me and another lady with the drop off process. She missed her flight, I almost missed mine. If I knew it was a 30-60 minute process, I would have planned accordingly.
