Dislike: When I searched for 'rental cars' in Sitka, AK I tried AVIS first but they were all sold out, so I began looking for any car rental company. QEEQ came up in the search. When making the reservation, I selected "Downtown Sitka" as the pick up location, then submitted the reservation. I then received an email saying that it would take 1-3 days for me to receive a confirmation of my reservation. NOT GOOD- I was going to be on a cruise ship with no way of checking email. Also NOT GOOD was that the response had a different pick up location- the Airport- which is NOT downtown Sitka, which meant i would need to take a cab from the ship to the airport. I emailed them and got a snotty response about me not selecting the correct location, which is not true since I know Sitka very well and picked Downtown on purpose. Each port I docked in, I had to try to connect to Wi-Fi to check emails....and not once did I ever receive a confirmation email. So on the day of my arrival, I had no idea if I even had a car or not, or where to pick it up, so I ended up paying for a cab to take me to the airport so I could look for QEEQ- which did not exist. I wandered over to the Avis counter to ask the guy if he'd heard of QEEQ and oddly enough he had my reservation at the Avis desk and said that EasyREntCars was just a go-between. I was quite pissed at that point...never in any communication with QEEQ did they even mention that this was Avis.
Avis was great- EasyREntCars not so much
